.....continued.

So I made the cut-off for Waynu Pichu and I waited for the girls to make it up. Entering Machu Pichu is such an insane experience it is hard to describe. That this civilization built this so long ago is mind boggling. It is so much more than you can imagine. Anyway, we wandered around awhile and took pictures before we had to meet our guide, Flakey Eddie. He was about 30 minutes late of course but he showed and we started our 2 hour very informative tour. After the tour we all relaxed a bit then 4 of us(Vivian, Sorsha, Anna and myself) headed up Wuynu Pichu. The hike has a lot of straight up to it but with some short flat areas, unlike the hike up to Machu Pichu. By this time my stomach was finally easing up and I flew up the trail to reach the summit where hundreds of other tourists sat and hung out(takes a little away from it). We hung out and snapped pics then headed down a different way. On the way down I ran into the Aussies(Thomas and Sara) I was on the train with. I had a very small bottle of Pisco and we all cheersed to the sacred`mountain. I had already ran into the Aussies about 4 other times so we exchanged info so we could share out past and future adventures. After getting down the mountain I explored the rest(not every room) of Machu Pichu including hikes to the Inca Bridge and the Sun Gate. It was time to head back to town(I took the bus down) and board the train for home, not before I change my itinerary. I had decided that I was not going to take the tourbus home but I was going to stay a night in Ullaytaytambo. Michelle liked the idea and joined me. WE bid farewell after the train ride and set to looking for a hostel. We found one but it was hilarious, Electric shower with the switch upside down(Michelle showered first so she was the trial and error), No toilet seat and her kids in the next room. The funniest part is that we had to fill out some very official forms. I will continue about Ullaytaytambo in the next blog but it is time for mr to go because the server keeps shoving free homemade sugar cane alcohol in my face and I can only be rude and resist for so long. I hope you all enjoy the photos and I will try to write from Pisac this weekend. I am going camping in Pisac for 2 nights but there is internet close by. Adios!!
